其一:称比重。树脂瓦主要原材合成树脂瓦料是聚氯乙烯(PVC),其比重约为1.4。 称重1平方米大的树脂瓦,重量÷体积≈1.4 证明树脂瓦主材为PVC,能有效保证产品使用寿命。重量÷体积>1.4 证明树脂瓦中添加了大量的重质碳合成树脂瓦酸钙及其它填充料,这不仅无法保证产品的使用寿命,而且产品脆性很大,易合成树脂瓦折,只能适用于简易临时性建筑上。(由于体积测量不是很方便,通常我们选用专业的马弗炉,做灰分燃烧试验。由于树脂燃烧后不会留下灰分,所以灰分的主要为不可燃的重钙,这样我们就可以得出其钙粉的含量,通常来说,钙粉的含量越高,其质量越差,成本也越低。)

其二:用火烧。 用火点燃树脂瓦一角,火源离开后,火苗合成树脂瓦立刻自息。伪劣树脂瓦火苗有蔓延之势并有较大的刺激气味。原因是:添加大量重质碳酸钙的伪劣树脂瓦为了让产合成树脂瓦品具有一定的柔韧性,在其中添加了增塑剂,而这种助剂具有助燃作用,这样产合成树脂瓦品是不符合消防要求而且耐候性能差,在阳光的合成树脂瓦照射下产生开裂。(合成树脂瓦,表层使用进口的树脂ASA,因为ASA为不可燃树脂而且非常昂贵。所以,如果针对表面点火,瓦会燃烧,这恰恰说明其使用的为优质树脂,具有很高的保色、抗老化性能。)
